Dr. Martin Schloh, Founder, ALEA Life Science
After completing his doctorate in chemistry in the field of microelectrochemical circuits and sensors at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA, Dr. Martin Schloh became laboratory manager at Bayer AG in Leverkusen, Germany, in the main scientific laboratory of Bayer AG. His main focus was the recycling of so-called superalloys by electrochemical processes into the valuable metals, especially tantalum and platinum.
A few years later, he moved from electrochemistry to the pharmaceutical sector at Bayer Pharma. Initially, he spent a short time on the road in pharmacy sales in Germany, learning pharmaceutical sales "from the ground up". Afterwards, he was responsible in Pharma Marketing for numerous CHD products for the GP and clinic business. During this time he prepared and successfully implemented the market entry of several CHD line extensions and a new lipid-lowering agent in Germany and at EU country level.
In 1999 he moved to Munich and worked as a partner and consultant with a focus on pharma and healthcare for management consultancies such as:
-
Roland Berger Strategy Consultants,
-
A.T. Kearney,
-

-

In this role, Martin Schloh developed market entry strategies, business and cooperation models for many companies in various international markets and was responsible for numerous commercial due diligence projects in the pharmaceutical, biotech, OTC, medical technology, hospital, nursing home and health IT sectors.
He has a strong global network and is a member of (among others)
